How do I set up Parental Controls?

User profiles or “People Cards” can be created and assigned to people and specific devices so Parental Controls can be established by person or device.

When adding a new person, like a child in the household:

1. Go to the Home Screen, tap the “People” tab on the bottom of the screen

   

2. Tap on the + (upper right corner) to add a new person (Create a person)

   

3. Name the person, take a profile picture (optional), and add an email address

   

4. Once the profile has been created, tap on the vertical ellipsis next to the Person Profile’s name which will show the following options:

   1. Personal Info

   2. Devices Assigned

   3. Person Profile

   4. Share HomePass app access

   5. Remove person

5. Select Person Profile

   1. Now select the content access rules for this profile by tapping the Person Profile option and selecting either Adult, Teen, Restrictive, or Household

   2. Tap "Done" when complete

      

6. Change an existing person’s profile:

1. From the Home Screen, tap the People tab on the bottom of the screen

2. Select the “person card” you wish to make a change and tap on their name

3. Tap on the "Person profile" link to change Content Access profile settings

4. When you are finished tap "Done" and the new settings are set for this person
