How do I access and manage the Parental Controls with Ultra TV?

To Turn on Parental Controls:

1. From the Smart Menu use the left arrow on the remote to locate the Settings card.

2. Highlight the "Parental Controls" setting and press the "OK" button on the remote.

   • If this is the 1st time that the Parental Controls have been accessed, you will need to create a 4 digit pin and confirm the 4 digit pin using the remote.

   • If a PIN has already been setup, highlight the "On" option and press the "OK" button.

To manage the types of blocks available, press the "OK" button on the Parental Controls setting again.

Use the arrow buttons to highlight "Settings" and press the "OK" button:

Block or Unblock by TV Ratings:

1. To block or unblock by TV Ratings, highlight the appropriate TV rating that you want to block or unblock using the up and down arrow buttons on the remote.

2. Press the "OK" button.

   • If the rating is being unblocked, you will be prompted to enter your PIN.

Block or Unblock by Movie Ratings:

1. To block or unblock by Movie Ratings, press the right arrow on the remote.

2. Highlight the appropriate Movie rating that you want to block or unblock using the up and down arrow buttons on the remote.

3. Press the "OK" button.

   • If the rating is being unblocked, you will be prompted to enter your PIN.

Block or Unblock by Channel:

1. To block or unblock a channel, press the right arrow on the remote to the Lock By Channel section.

2. Highlight the appropriate channel that you want to block or unblock using the up and down arrow buttons on the remote.

3. Press the "OK" button.

   • If the rating is being unblocked, you will be prompted to enter your PIN.

To change the Relock Timer:

1. To change the relock timer default setting, press the right arrow on the remote to the Set Relock Timer section.

2. Press the "OK" button.

3. Highlight the appropriate relock time that you want using the up and down arrow buttons on the remote.

4. Press the "OK" button.

To Turn off Parental Controls:

1. From the Smart Menu, use the left arrow on the remote to locate the Settings card.

2. Highlight the Parental Controls setting and press the "OK" button on the remote.

   • To Turn off all Parental Controls permanently, highlight "Alway Off" and press "OK."

   • To turn off Parental Controls temporarily, highlight the 1,2,4, or 6 Hour (set on the Relock timer setting).

3. Enter your PIN to Turn off the Parental Controls.
